The Bash 2019 - Calgary Black and White Photo Booth kickin’ out timeless & classic portraits
What didn’t we love about this wedding market? NOTHING. Seriously. Being part of this wedding show was like rolling up to the most happening cocktail party in town and rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of the Calgary wedding and event industry. Local DJ provided an awesome kickback to mid-90’s early-2000’s hip hop and radio hits (think No Diggity and Shoop by Salt & Pepa.) We had THE BEST time hanging out with #bossbabes, #bridetribes and #girlgangs that made us remember why we created this luxury black white photo booth business in the first place. Love is all around us all the time. And, that statement is never more true than on a wedding day. It feels like absolute magic to photograph the true connection that happens in front of our camera when besties, moms and daughters or a group of ladies sit for a portrait in our black and white photo booth.

We have to give a major shout out to these fine ladies below. Shannon, Sarah and Natalie are the masterminds behind The Bash and are singlehandedly changing the definition of what a “Wedding Fair” is. They designed a thoughtful, curated wedding market featuring wedding vendors who actually give a s&*t about creating an amazing wedding experience for their clients. Thank you for inviting our Calgary black and white photo booth to your event.
They say it in their tag line, but it’s truly is the ONLY wedding show you need to attend.

Hanging out at The Bash was so much fun. We had the best time chatting with other Calgary wedding vendors (the best in the city, by the way) but our absolutely favourite part was photographing couples, bride-tribes, friends who’ve been besties since kindergarten and moms, daughters & sisters. Be still our hearts!
We delivered more than 700 portraits from just two short days at The Bash. That’s 700 photos of people in love, family, friends & loved ones alike. When we have the opportunity to capture love and genuine connection, it reminds us why we designed this luxury black and white portrait photo booth in the first place. The images we produce are classic & timeless and will end up being framed on the walls of people’s homes to be enjoyed for generations.
That makes us truly smile from ear to ear.
Finally, I would be remiss if we didn’t include the sweetest family photos we captured at the event as well. I love photographing little kiddos so much we might even consider launching a black and white portrait business photographing littles and making them look like rock starts. I think this might end up being “a thing”.

… and that’s a wrap! We are currently fielding all the inquiries we are receiving after both The Wedding Fair and The Bash and we couldn’t be happier. We are SO excited to work with all the wonderful couples who have booked us already for their 2019 & 2020 (!) weddings. We love creating timeless black and white photographs of people and we can’t wait to photograph the couples and guests at our upcoming weddings! We have the best job in the whole world xoxo
